Hanwha Eagles slugger Chae Eun-sung has been named the best star of the 2023 KBO All-Star Game. She literally ‘dominated’ the All-Star Game.
Chae Eun-sung started the 2023 Shinhan Bank SOL KBO All-Star Game at Sajik Baseball Stadium in Busan on the 15th and went 3-for-5 with two doubles, one home run, five RBIs and two runs scored.
Chae Eun-sung swung the bat hard from her first at-bat. In the bottom of the first inning, she hit a two-run double off Dream All-Star starter Park Se-woong to give the Nanum All-Stars an early lead.
Chae Eun-sung’s performance continued. With two outs in the bottom of the third inning, she hit a grand slam off Dream All-Star pitcher Koo Seung-min to make the score 8-0. It had been 41 years since Kim Yong-hee (Lotte) hit a grand slam in the 1982 season, the first year of the Korean Baseball Organization.온라인바카라
The Nanum All-Stars tasted victory for the second year in a row as they defeated the Dream All-Stars 8-4 with Chae Eun-sung wielding a fire bat.
Chae Eun-sung also won the home run race held on All-Star Friday the previous day, blasting five home runs. She entered the All-Star Game in high spirits after winning KRW 5 million in prize money, and she delivered a standout performance in this game as well.
Mr. All-Star was undoubtedly Chae Eun-sung. With 46 of the 49 votes cast by the journalists, she was overwhelmingly crowned the All-Star Game MVP.
With the exception of 2020 and 2021, which were cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, she is the first player to win the Home Run Race and All-Star Game MVP in the same year that the actual All-Star Game was held.
Chae took home KRW5 million for winning the Home Run Race, a tablet PC worth KRW1 million for the distance award, and KRW10 million for the All-Star Game MVP award, giving her a rich All-Star break.
