The LG Twins continued to compete for the lead in the demonstration game as the batting line exploded.
LG won 8-1 in an exhibition game against Kiwoom in the ‘2023 Shinhan Bank SOL KBO League’ held at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul on the 25th. LG, which lost to KT in the last game and gave Samsung the sole 1st place in the demonstration game, continued fierce competition for the lead in the demonstration game with a victory that day.
Starting pitcher Casey Kelly won with 2 hits, 1 walk, 3 strikeouts and 1 run in 5 innings. The bullpen led by Lee Woo-chan (1 inning scoreless)안전놀이터 – Baek Seung-hyeon (1 inning scoreless) – Yoo Young-chan (1 inning scoreless) – Jin Hae-soo (1 inning scoreless score) kept the victory. In Kiwoom, who lost two consecutive losses, starting pitcher Jang Jae-young recorded a loss with 4 hits, 2 walks, 3 strikeouts and 2 runs in 4 innings. Jang Jae-young led the game to a certain extent, but the bullpen that came after him only gave 4 runs in the 5th inning, and the victory was completely on the decline. In the 6th inning, Song Chan-eui’s solo home run hit, followed by Hong Chang-ki’s hit, and Park Hae-min hit an RBI and timely hit to seal the game.
Kiwoom made the last chance with Kim Hwi-jip going to base with an infield hit in the ninth inning with one out, but it did not lead to a run.
